Frequently Asked Questions about Bookkeepers

Please reach us at greensbookkeepingservice@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A bookkeeper helps a business keep track of its financial transactions, such as sales, expenses, and payments. They make sure records are accurate, organized, and up to date, which helps the business understand its financial health and stay compliant with tax laws.

You might need a bookkeeper if:

  • Your finances are getting messy. If you're losing track of invoices, receipts, or don’t know your current cash flow, it's time to bring in help.

  • You’re spending too much time on books. If bookkeeping is eating into time you'd rather spend growing your business, outsourcing it can free you up.

  • Tax time is stressful. A bookkeeper can make sure everything is organized and ready for your accountant or the IRS.

  • You're not sure how your business is doing. If you can’t quickly answer questions like “Are we making a profit?” or “Can we afford this expense?” a bookkeeper can help keep you informed.

  • You're planning to grow. A solid financial foundation is key when hiring, expanding, or seeking funding.

I charge $50.00 per hour for bookkeeping and $75.00 per hour for teaching.
